Garlic naan is easy to prepare at home .........I always go to some North Indian restaurant to have naan, tandoori roti,etc.....I never knew how it was made .....but once I came to know I tried making at home...... so every one can make naan at home ..............
Ingredients
1.All purpose flour/Maida 2cups
2.Baking powder 1/2tsp.
3.Baking soda 1/2tsp.
4.Salt to taste
5.Yogurt 1tbsp.
6.Sugar 1tsp.
7.Milk 3/4cup
8.Coriander leaves chopped
9.Garlic chopped
Take a deep bowl and mix ingredients from 1-4 then to it add the ingredients 5-8 and knead well ..........the texture of the dough should be soft (as shown below) ........ close the bowl with a cloth and keep it aside for raising for about 30 - 60mins........
After resting the dough make balls out of it (make sure your hand is rubbed with oil so that the dough don't stick to your hands)...then take each ball spread some oil and flaten it with your hands...... on top spread some garlic and press it (not necessary to be round).the naan mix need not be thin ..........now heat a flat pan and toast the naan mix on both the sides ..................when done again the naan has to be shown directly on the gas to swell ........ be sure not to let it burn .......naan is ready.........
